Calculators and statistical software are allowed
during quizzes (no aid sheets).
One 8.5 x 11 inch aid sheet (both sides) allowed
during mid-term and final exam.
The best 4 of 5 quizzes will be used to compute your
final grade. If you miss a quiz, your mark for that quiz is zero. You may
reschedule a quiz only if a valid reason is provided. It is your responsibility
to know the material for the quizzes. No make-up tests or essays will
substitute for the quizzes.
The recommended software to use during quizzes is
Minitab or Excel. Other software is permissible including programmable
calculators. Tutorials will be used to show you how to use Minitab to solve
statistical problems.
There are no out-of-class activities planned.
There is no
lab on May 18 (Victoria Day).
